3-Pound Package Bees | Local Pickup in Ogden, Utah

Start your colony strong with a 3-pound package of live honey bees, prepared locally in Ogden in partnership with a trusted area beekeeper.

Each package includes:

Approximately 3 pounds of live worker bees

A mated queen in her own protective cage, suspended inside the package

A vented transport box for safe handling and airflow

These packages are available by pre-order only and must be picked up in person.
We do not ship bees.

Locally Packaged for Reduced Stress

Although the bees overwinter in California and pollinate almonds, they arrive in Utah in March and are packaged locally in April. Because the bees are packaged right here rather than boxed and shipped long distances after packaging, they experience less transport stress compared to many commercially shipped packages.

Queens are bred in California and carefully installed into each package at the time of packaging.
