Introducing a Mated Queen

For best results:

Confirm your hive is queenless before introduction.

Leave the queen in her cage and allow workers to release her gradually.

If using a candy plug, ensure it is exposed properly for controlled release.

Avoid direct release unless experienced and conditions are ideal.

Check for acceptance and egg laying after several days.

Proper introduction technique significantly improves acceptance success.

Important Notes

Inspect queen upon pickup.

Introduce promptly after purchase.

Weather and colony condition influence acceptance rates.
