Our queens are sourced from reputable breeders and are mated and actively laying prior to sale. Each queen is provided in a protective cage with attendant bees for safe transport and introduction.

Introducing a Mated Queen
For best results:
Confirm your hive is queenless before introduction.
Leave the queen in her cage and allow workers to release her gradually.
If using a candy plug, ensure it is exposed properly for controlled release.
Avoid direct release unless experienced and conditions are ideal.
Check for acceptance and egg laying after several days.
Proper introduction technique significantly improves acceptance success.
